夜中に町をプラプラしてたら警察に捕まった。
パトカーが俺のそばに止まって警官が2人出てきて俺を囲んだ。
警「ドゥーユーハヴパスポート？」
俺「ノー」
すかさず確保される俺。
警「ニホンゴワカル？」
俺「はい」
警「どこから来たの？」
俺「…ぐんま」
警「ミャンマー？」
俺「ぐんま」
警「グンマーね。ビザは持ってるの？」
俺「持ってないです」
警「はい、じゃあパトカー乗って」
パトカーに乗る俺。
警「名前は？」
俺「山田太郎（仮名）」
警「日系人？」
俺「日本人です」
警「え？」
俺「日本人ですよ」
警「…えっ？」
俺「免許証見ます？」
免許証を見せる俺。絶句する警官。
警「…すいませんでした…不法入国の人かと思って…」
警「…あの、その、お顔とかが、ちょっと外国の方みたいだったので…」
俺「帰っていいすか？」
警「…はい…。お気をつけて…」
それでやっと解放された。
その日を境に俺のあだなは「ネパール」から「グンマー」になった。
